I dedicated some time to adding an "Upcoming Presentations" section to the front page, offering a clearer view of the events I will be attending and speaking at. Visibility is not just about presence. It is about purpose. Every interaction, every talk, and every engagement is an opportunity to help people better understand the landscape I navigate.
I appreciate the efficiency of tasks in ChatGPT, but requiring users to open the app just to view the output is wholly counterintuitive. Receiving an email merely confirming execution without delivering results is wasteful.
A more thoughtful approach would offer the option to include the output directly in the message, reducing unnecessary steps, and improving the overall experience.
Unemployment is rarely ideal, yet these past few months have been a paradox of challenge and renewal. The absence of a work ritual has granted me the freedom to confront what I once discarded, to reclaim time lost to procrastination, and to reset my focus.
While I am eager to rejoin the grind, I am profoundly grateful for this period of reflection and healing.

While i admire Wordpress as a technology, the way Matt Mullenweg handled the WP Engine situation left a really sour taste. Watching a company so deeply embedded in the open web mistreat its own ecosystem was enough for me to walk away. I refuse to support a platform not respecting the people and businesses that helped build it into what it is today
It has been an incredible run, but it is time for a platform that is faster, leaner, and built for the modern web. Ghost offers exactly what I need: a streamlined, blazing fast tool with arguably the best online writing experience available
So long, Wordpress. Thanks for the incredible memories.
A busy and productive day. I have an in-person presentation in Singapore coming up in a few weeks, and today I finally finalized the topic and outline. Now the real challenge begins. I need to stitch together a story that is not just coherent, but thought-provoking, insightful, fun, and worth remembering with some solid takeaways.

The migration from Wordpress.com to Ghost Pro is finalized, and jark.me now resides in its new permanent home.
The shift was not just technical, but philosophical. Wordpress has become bloated, sluggish, and cumbersome. Writing in it feels like an uphill battle, buried beneath unnecessary complexity. It remains a great CMS, but has lost its way as a writing platform.
Ghost, on the other hand, is a masterclass in balance. Elegant and minimal on the surface, yet powerful and sophisticated beneath. It moves with speed, responds with precision, and strips away the noise.
Writing tools should never get in the way.
